Excalibur SportPro inks have great stretch, and are designed to cure at temperatures (under 300?F), which make them ideal for printing polyester performance fabrics as well as lycra/spandex, and temperature sensitive fabrics. The inks have a matte finish which is very popular with today’s sports jersey’s. SportPro inks are available in 1550 standard spot colors, 1533 collegiate colors, as well as a 1551 color matching system.
SportPro inks are low cure inks, so they are more sensitive to heat than normal plastisol inks. Return unused ink to the bucket and seal lid completely. Store containers in an area that has the lowest temperatures. If ink is left open and exposed to the average room temperature of a typical screen printing production floor for more than 12 hours, its shelf life may be greatly shortened. The tendency will be for this product to thicken or semi-gel if left in a screen or uncovered in the container over several days. If ink does thicken, you can try stirring ink to break down “body” or adding reducer to get ink to flow easier.
